Kauffman Internship Program
Kauffman Entrepreneur Internship Program creates paid internship opportunities in local businesses across many different faculties. Last year a total of 15 mechanical engineers, software engineers, marketers, MBA students, and finance and accounting graduates were placed in internships with two resulting in an offer of permanent employment.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
After being selected through an interview process by the host company, interns commit to working 150-200 hours (10-15 hours a week) onsite for the host company for one semester. Interns work to achieve a well-defined brief or set of goals. Interns receive a stipend from the California State University, Fresno Foundation of approximately $3,000.
Opportunities arise throughout the academic year, so it is always useful to submit your resume to the Program Coordinator as early as possible.
The internship may be taken for credit or final project as appropriate. Please discuss with an academic advisor.
