Fresno State student wins business honor
Fresno State student Timothy Snyder won first place Saturday in the Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship's annual student business plan competition called "Dream it! Win it!" Snyder was awarded $15,000 for his concept: Sunspot Industries, a snow, surf and skateboard shop attached to an indoor skate park. Snyder's plan is to meet the needs of board enthusiasts with high-quality, affordable equipment.

Clovis couple develops "Click" energy drink
A Clovis couple has developed an energy drink that combines coffee, chocolate and protein in each serving. Greg and Beth Smith came up with the idea two years ago and began distribution of Click in June 2008. The product is now available internationally.
