Kauffman Internship Program
Graduate students from California State University, FresnoFresno assist an entrepreneurial firm in growing their company and receive a $2,800 stipend for a minimum of 150 hours of work. Partially funded by the Ewing Kauffman Foundation. Learn more >>

Entrepreneur in Residence
The Entrepreneur in Residence is a distinguished award given to a prominent entrepreneur once a year. The guest entrepreneur spends three to five days on campus lecturing in classes, conducting seminars, and meeting with entrepreneurs in the community. Emerging Business Consultation
Emerging Business Consultation with the Walter Law Group provides legal counseling services to faculty, staff, students, and community entrepreneurs and innovators. Walter Law Group holds office hours at the Lyles Center on a weekly basis and offers seminars and workshops on intellectual property. Learn More >>

Invention 2 Venture Workshop

FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS
$10,000 Student Business Plan Competition
The annual Student Business Plan Competition awards students from California State University, Fresno with $10,000 in prize money. First through third place winners of the competition will receive cash to be used in the development of their business and will receive one of the eight office spaces in the Lyles Center Hatchery. $5K Scholarships in Entrepreneurship
The Scholarships in Entrepreneurship program attracts students from across the country to California State University, Fresno to educate and retain as future entrepreneurs for the Central Valley. Learn more >>

FOR HIGHSCHOOL STUDENTS
NFTE
NFTEs programs teach entrepreneurship using experiential curriculum that corresponds to High School reading levels and complexity. The curriculum may be used in a semester-long or year-long stand alone entrepreneurship elective course, in an after school setting, or integrated with economics, marketing, or other business courses. Central Valley Entrepreneur Leadership Program
Temporarily discontinued.
This program brings 150 high school juniors and seniors to CSU Fresno for six half-day workshops from October to April to work in teams to identify a business "need" in their community. Partially sponsored by the Coleman Foundation.

FOR KIDS
Kids Invent!
Programs for kids include an after school program that provides elementary and middle school children the opportunity to invent toys, and summer programs for fourth through eighth graders to design, manufacture, market, and sell their toy inventions. Learn more >>
