'Start it Up' Winner Announced

Fresno, CA (Oct. 6, 2008) - Marc Raygoza, Vine Global Solutions, Inc. of Fresno has been announced as the winner of 'Start it Up: Fresno's $250K Entrepreneur Challenge.

Vine Global Solutions is an e-commerce provider that allows U.S. online retailers to branch out into international markets and sell directly to international customers.

Raygoza was one of 10 finalists in the nationwide competition, which were chosen from more than 100 applicants.  All of the finalists presented their business plans before a panel of 20 judges.  As the winner of the grand prize, Raygoza will receive $250,000: $100,000 in cash and $150,000 in in-kind services, which will benefit his business.

Raygoza was announced as the winner of the competition during halftime at the Fresno State football game on Saturday.

'Start it Up' was made possible through a collaboration between the Lyles Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at California State University, Fresno, the City of Fresno Economic Development Department, the Fresno Redevelopment Agency, Craig School of Business at California State University, Fresno and Table Mountain Rancheria.
